The Jim Bradley Speedball Legacy
Speedball today is used extensively within boxing training and fitness programs throughout the world. However, few of us know that over 50 years ago it was Jim Bradley who developed the speedball as we know and love, today. Originally it was a bigger boxing bag which Jim Bradley reduced in size and adjusted the swivel.
We believe speedball is the ultimate workout. Learning the skills of speedball is a bit like learning a musical instrument but once you master it you will have the skill for life, hopefully a longer life!
Plus it’s a lot of fun.
Speed Bag Champ
Changing the Speed Bag Game
We have been working with Eras Noel since 2020 on his speed bag counter, the Speed Bag Champ. Eras is the founder of Athletic Interpretations and a graduate of Notre Dame. While in school, he had a class project and he chose to make a speed bag counter. He ended up getting the counter patented.
He just rolled out his Speed Bag Champ Counter that works with our EVO swivels. The first HUGE run for these will be at our 2026 East Coast Gathering. We will be using them for our Drag Race to 300 Contest.
